My culinary journey began with my need to bring order, organization, and balance to my diet; so that I could reach my nutritional goals. I began by organizing my pantry. I tossed-out all the junk food. I looked up pantry ideas on Pinterest. I combined several ideas and developed my own Chef’s Pantry.
I live in the country. Seasonally, a field mouse likes to visit me from time to time and to rummage through my staples. So, I chose to put everything in plastic bins and containers. This works well. I can keep everything fresh, visible, and protected from my little visitors.
No matter how much space you have, whether it is a cabinet in the kitchen, a free-standing shelf; or a walk-in pantry; you can organize your space and develop your own Chef’s Pantry. Here are a few ideas below:
